The trick to use the Flashing Rollers properly is keeping one foot in front of the other. If you don't, you will fall on your backside! You have been warned!

1. ROLLING : On a gentle slope, place one foot in front of the other and lift your toes. This is like taking the brakes off and you should gently start to roll forward. As you gain in confidence, give yourself a gentle push with your back foot to roll faster.

2. SKATING: Once you have mastered the basic roll, find a flat surface and practice pushing yourself off. This is done by taking a small run-up then transferring your weight onto your front foot. Once you are in motion keep your toes up and cruise along keeping your other foot behind you. Once you start to slow down repeat the procedure.

3. STOPPING: To slow down or stop, simply lower the toes of your back foot so the sole of your shoe slides along the ground. The beauty of the Flashing Rollers is that you can stop skating and start strolling whenever you desire.
